And seriously, I did consider becoming an EMT, but after doing a little research, they don't pay you shit for what they do. Now if you pride yourself on getting paid around $10-$12/hr. and helping those in dire need, then that's kool, more power to you. But if you're just gonna talk outta your ass about how much you have to do with soo little pay, then you truely are an idiot for staying there and not looking for something that pays better or at least makes you happy.

|
medical training is one thing but being able to do it while there are people screaming around you with out panicking and your adrenaline rushing is another thing. i do pride myself in helping people in their time of need if i cared so much about more money i wouldn't work on an ambulance i'd work in a hospital changing diapers and getting paid way more as a nurse. having a stomache tht can handle anything and everything is a big deal as well. can't help someone if you puke cuz they'r guts are hanging out orthey're puking all over themselfs and you.

That's what I like, the adrenaline rush, but there's no way I can go from making $24/hr to $10-$12 as an EMT.
