L.A. Street Food Fest

some of us are plannin on going, so i figured we can post it up and see if anyone else wants to come and get your eat on.

basically its lots of different gourmet roach coaches.

What: 1st Annual LA Street Food Fest
When: Saturday, February 13th, 11am – 5pm

Admission: Tickets will be available at the door the day of the event. Exclusive VIP Tickets are available online now, but will not be for sale at the event.
$5 General Admission Includes entry to the festival, a free drink ticket, cool giveaways.
$30 VIP Includes all of the above plus access to above street-level VIP patio with a bird’s eye view of the fest, goodie bag, exclusive bites not available to GA attendees, private bar, access to indoor restrooms, and more.

Children: Little ones age 10 and under admitted free with a paying grown up.

Where: LA CENTER STUDIOS
Enter on 500 S. Beaudry Ave
Los Angeles, CA 90017

Who: You! Food lovers of all ages are welcome, but due to food/health regulations, no dogs allowed. (Sorry Fido!).

Why: Treat your taste buds while supporting local food vendors (and the local economy), discover great goods from LA’s best designers and artists, sip a drink to support the LA Regional Foodbank, and spend the day outdoors with friends and family.

How: Pay as you go (cash only!) directly to food vendors with special Street Food Fest sampling menus priced $1-$5!

bump for tomorrow. i should be there around 1130ish. gonna hop on the train to get there. my plan is to get there when it opens or shortly after, then get my grub on, walk around and check out the vendors and open market thing they will have, then recharge and grub some more.

if anyone wants to meet at my pad to roll down there u are more than welcome.

You do know its a lil bit of a hike from the 7th and metro redline stop, dont you?

You gotta walk up a pretty decent sized hill to get there. If I were going alone I'd do it since I walk that way to my office @ just west of the freeway anyway, but for the sake of those who are coming with me that dont walk it...I'm taking my car and just paying to park.

hmmm. didnt think about that. but since im prolly gonna roll solo i dont mind the walk. gonna take my ipod and maybe a backpack to put some stuff in. take some pics and what not.
